Fees for 2008/9
We are firmly committed to providing our pupils with a rich and rounded experience. In doing so, we endeavour to operate an inclusive fee structure. Effectively this means that the more your child participates, the greater value they will get from their time at Abbotsholme.

Registration Fee: £60 (Non-refundable)
Deposits: UK and EEC countries £500 (Refundable at end of pupil’s school career)

All items listed below are provided to Abbotsholme pupils, as part of the basic fee:

  • Text books
  • Laundry (Boarders only)
  • Entertainments and After School Activities
  • Lunch for day pupils including mid-morning snack
  • Exam fees (Re-sits chargeable)
  • Compulsory term time visits/trips
  • Membership of Abbotsholme Parents Association
  • Membership of The Abbotsholmians' Club (6th Form only)
  • Personal Accident Insurance (All pupils)
  • Personal Effects Insurance (All pupils)
  • Morrisby Careers Test (Year 11 pupils)

Payment of School Fees:

  • Fees are payable in advance, or on the first day of term. Late payment and administration charges will be raised and the Governors reserve the right to request the withdrawal of a pupil should fees remain unpaid.
  • Monthly payment by Direct Debit is available through Holmwoods Termtime Credit. Details can be obtained from the School Accountant.
  • Advance Fee Payment Discount Scheme: parents or fee payer can pay annual fees one year in advance at a discounted rate of 3%. Details can be obtained from the School Accountant.

Withdrawal
A full term's notice in writing (or a term's fees in lieu) must be given in writing by parents or guardians before a pupil is withdrawn. This notice in writing should be received by the Headmaster, on or before the first day of term.

Discounts
Siblings - Abbotsholme encourages families; a discount of 5% is offered for the second child, 10% for the third child and subsequent children.

Optional Extras
Please note that a full term's notice is required in writing to discontinue any optional extras.

Music Lessons/ Hire of instruments charged per term (invoiced at half-term)
Specialist Sport Tuition/Riding Lessons (ex curricula) charged per term (invoiced at half-term)
School Transport charged per term (invoiced at half-term)
Occasional Boarding (flexible and occasional boarding are dependent upon availability of places) charged per term (in advance) up to £30 per night (in arrears)
Overseas trips charged on an individual basis
